We value the importance of drama within school. Drama is a valuable tool for raising self-expression, developing confidence and promoting self-esteem. We also use drama to help children gain a deeper understanding of characters' thoughts and feelings within texts taught in English through drama activities such as role-play, role on the wall, hot-seating and conscience alley.
Drama is also taught as a stimulus for other subject areas.
The children also gain experiences through watching visiting theatre groups, taking part in Christmas and Summer productions and by participating in various workshops.
